Question 1

Can framing be coordinated with my remodel or addition?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MIR provides framing support within remodeling, additions, and residential new construction. The framing scope is coordinated with the rest of the construction project.

Question 2

Does MIR provide metal framing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Metal framing is part of MIR's service offering. The appropriate materials and framing scope are determined from the project's plans and requirements during planning.

Question 3

What plans or information should I bring to a framing discussion?

Accepted Answer

Bring any architectural or structural drawings you already have, photos of the existing space, the property address, and a description of the changes you want. Tell us which design and permitting steps are already complete.

Question 4

Can I discuss framing work before my plans are finished?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MIR can discuss the overall project at the planning stage and coordinate with your architect. The construction scope is developed as the design and project requirements are worked through.

Question 5

Does MIR work on commercial renovations and investment properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MIR handles commercial renovations, tenant improvements, rental property updates, and improvements before listing a property. We can discuss framing within that work. Large-scale, ground-up commercial new construction is outside our current scope.

Question 6

What affects the budget and timing for framing work?

Accepted Answer

The size of the project, drawings, materials, existing conditions, site access, and coordination with other construction work influence the estimate and schedule. Share the available project details so the team can review the scope with you.
